CATC Camp Fuji provides U.S. Forces the premier training facility in Japan, supports operational plans, and strengthens relationships with Joint and Japanese partners in order to ensure U.S. forward deployed and based forces are ready for contingency operations.

Helpful Info

DON'TS

  1. Do not enter spaces not assigned to your unit​

  2. Do not move furniture between squad bays​

  3. No visitors allowed between 2200-0500 unless authorized by the CATC CO.

 

DO'S

  1. Submit work requests to the S-4 as necessary​

  2. Key card problems after work hours will be addressed the next business day. Contact the CATC CDO for lock outs outside work hours.​

  3. Coordinate with the S-4 for turning in linen prior to departure​

  4. Contact S-4 to schedule joint inspections before departing​

Non-Tactical Vehicles

  1. NTV mainly supports garrison and tenant units​.

  2. NTV does not support training units. NTV does not license training unit personnel​.

 

Green Line Shuttle 

  • Only NTV service training units can use​.  Scheduled run.

  • Departs from Bldg 110, outside the PX​.

  • 30 PAX max per bus. Medical appointments take priority​.

 

Fuji to Yokosuka​

Monday - Friday

  • Departs Fuji: 0600.  Estimated Yokosuka arrival ~ 0800.

  • Departs Yokosuka: 1200.   Estimated Fuji arrival ~ 1400.

Saturday and Sunday

  • Departs Fuji: 1000.  Estimated Yokosuka arrival ~ 1200.

  • Departs Yokosuka: 1530.  Estimated Fuji arrival ~ 1730.

 

Fuji to Yokota​

Saturday and Sunday

  • Departs Fuji: 1000.  Estimated Yokota arrival ~ 1200.

  • Units must confirm feed plan numbers 72 hours prior​.

  • Provide required taxes (1 cook per 75 PAX, 1 messman per 18 PAX) ​

  • Requests for any special feeding (i.e. recreational meals) must be submitted 10 business days in advance to the CATC Mess Chief.​

  • CATC Camp Fuji Supply is located with DMO, Fuel and RIP representatives.​

  • Training units are responsible for their own supplies (e.g. ServMart)​.

  • CATC Camp Fuji Supply is available to assist for procurement POC’s (mainly ServMart).​

  • CATC Camp FujiSupply has distribution management capabilities to receive freight cargo for training units. ​

  • There is no warehouse storage space available for training units beyond freight cargo reception in the CATC Supply warehouse.​

  • Do NOT use signal code J transactions without CATC Camp Fuji Supply coordination.​

  • Operations must be conducted in daylight hours. Contact ASP for exact hours of operation.

  • Requirements not forecast may be met if stock is available, but priority is given to forecast requirements​.

  • Issues take priority over turn-ins​.

  • Ammo resupplies from Yokosuka take priority over training unit issues and turn-ins.​

  • Confirm all necessary documentation and safety equipment is available when conducting ammo draws and turn-ins​.

  • Training units must provide working parties to sort dunnage, and spray paint.​

  • Avoid excessive breakouts​.

  • Adherence to ASP guidance enables smooth operations.​

Hours: Mon-Fri, 0800-1600

1. Coordinate with your unit’s Frequency Manager or III MEF Frequency Manager to acquire frequencies prior to arrival for training. Camp Fuji S-6 is not authorized to provide this service.

2. CATC Camp Fuji has no ADP equipment available for training unit use. 
    Training units must arrive with the computer hardware needed for mission requirements. Including computers, LAN cable, cards, connectors, and equipment to cover equipment failure.

3. Camp Fuji has limited second echelon communication electronics maintenance capabilities.

4. Limited amounts of classified material and cryptographic material may be stored in our vault.  48-hours advance notice is required for use.

5. NIPR and SIPR VTC capabilities are available upon request.  72-hours advance notice is required.

6. CATC Camp Fuji does not have LMRs to loan.

1. Training units provide their own medical staff including qualified medical providers [e.g. medical officer, physician assistant, or independent duty corpsman (IDC)].

2. Units must provide all medical equipment, supplies and immunizations necessary for the duration of their training operations. 

The Commissary Click2Go program is available to our training units.

The pick-up location is at the Mess Hall. 

Deliveries arrive on Wednesdays.  Pick-ups are available 1400-1600.
